Malibu Grand Prix

I saw a groupon for Malibu Grand Prix and it looked like a fun place to check out with the kids.  Race cars, water bumper boats, and putt-putt.  Oh yeah!  We bought the groupon and went on Saturday but didn't realize until we got there (good 40 minute drive) that you couldn't use it on a Saturday.  Instead we stayed and played some video games and earned tickets for a bit and went to Trader Joe's since it was close by.  We had to make the most of the situation so that's what we did.  Look at this Transformer Video Game of Bumblebee!  We thought it was cool since Andrew likes transformers.

The following day we made the drive again and as it turned out we had lots of fun.  Julia and Daddy waiting to ride the race cars.

After riding the race cars a few times we played a round of putt-putt.  It was such a hot day but luckily Julia picked the course with lots of shade.

The kids have played putt-putt a few different times and I actually think they are getting better.

We made the water bumper boats our last stop since you can spray water and get wet.  Julia was tall enough to go alone and Thomas rode with Andrew.  I knew it would be a great opportunity to take some photos so I did that instead of getting all wet.

Both kids said the water bumper boats was their favorite part of the day.  Thomas and Julia got quite wet but since Andrew was so little next to Thomas he stayed relatively dry.  Ready to get into dry clothes and head home!
