Disney...Day 2

We didn't have plans to go to a park today but it was still a super busy day.  We all slept in a bit (well except for maybe Alexander who is an early riser regardless of bedtime) since we got home so late the night before.  After lounging around for a while we headed to the Art of Animation Resort to check out 'Radiator Springs' and the cars from the Disney movie Cars.  It was actually pretty cool to see all the cars from the movie.

Lightning McQueen...the most famous car from the movie.

Sally.

Daddy and Andrew checking out McQueen.

Of course Guido with a bunch of tires and three cute kiddos.

Can you see Julia and Andrew?

Everyone knows Mater...he's definitely a favorite.

Julia and Andrew hanging out at Mater's shop.

After lunch and some swimming at the condo pool along with a nap for Andrew we headed to the Contemporary Resort for dinner at Chef Mickey's.  We had so much fun meeting lots of characters who Julia and Andrew love. It was truly a magical dinner!

Family photo before dinner!

First one to our table was Mickey Mouse himself.  It was such a great experience for us as parents to watch our children be so excited to see their favorite characters.

Andrew wasn't quite ready to say hi to Mickey on his own.

The kids loved getting their autographs in their book.

Andrew was all smiles when he saw Pluto.

Pluto was silly!  After signing his book he put it on his nose for Andrew to take it off.  Andrew loved it!

Andrew's still not sure about standing next to the characters alone.

Julia's favorite...Minnie Mouse!  Look at those pretty girls!

Andrew even got in a few pictures without holding onto dad.

Love this...you can just see the pure happiness in Julia's face.  She truly loved the whole dinner experience and I'm so happy we were able to provide them with this opportunity.

Daddy and Andrew enjoying dinner.

Mommy and Julia having a blast!

Next up...Goofy!

Mickey Mouse came back around for some more hugs!

Look who gave Mickey Mouse a hug!  Mickey is Andrew's favorite character and I'm so glad he warmed up to them!

Andrew even managed to be in a photo alone with him.  All the characters were great...such a wonderful memory we'll have forever.  The kids excitement alone brought us so much joy.  Look at Julia in the background feeling Mickey Mouse's fur.

Julia even loved the cut out in the chairs at dinner!  The little details add to the experience and Disney definitely pays attention to detail.

Our very own Minnie Mouse and as cute as can be!  So blessed and thankful for another wonderful day at Disney!

  1. You can tell how much the kids love Disney from all the smiles on their faces. I think the parents are enjoying themselves too! :)
