Nana and Papa visit

We had such a great week with Nana and Papa in town from New York.  The kids loved having them around and really enjoyed playing with them too.  

Papa got to experience Andrew holding him too.  So sweet!

Blueberry Picking was great and this year it was even better than last since it wasn't 95 degrees.

Julia and Andrew were great blueberry pickers.  Andrew smashed a few but not bad for a 2 year old.

Off to the airport.  See you in about 4 weeks when we come to New York.  

Little Climber

Andrew is an active little boy who really has no fear...he's definitely all boy and approaches life much differently than Julia.  It's been nice for us to experience the two different personalities between Julia and Andrew and we love them both to pieces.  He's a little bit of a dare devil and tries anything like swinging from the bar at a playground.

A few days ago Andrew learned how to climb the rock wall on our playground and of course he kept doing it over and over again.  He would climb the rock wall and then go down the slide and do it again and again.  Once he got to the top he was very proud of himself and said, 'I did it.'  If I tried to help he would say, 'I do it myself.'

Almost to the top!

Here's a bunch of photos taken on a few different days since I wasn't thrilled with the first attempt and the second time we tried it was quite windy so we tried a third time.  I think I finally got something I'll enlarge and hang up in our house.  Lots of fun playing photos too!
