Good Morning!

We're so fortunate that we don't have to wake Julia up early to get her ready so we can both go to work and everyday we're reminded of this and it's so nice. Julia isn't one who wakes up and gets rights out of bed. She enjoys lying there for a bit and then getting up...just like me. A huge thanks to Thomas for working hard to support our family...I can't imagine missing all this time with Julia and Andrew. This morning Julia was was being silly and took off her pajamas and lied back down so I threw a blanket over her since it was a little chilly. Our little love bug has a queen size bed and for whatever reason she insists on sleeping on top of the pillows. However, when she takes a nap she only lies her head on the pillow and not her whole body. Such a silly girl!

Hiding from Mommy! I hope you had a great morning too!

Fun with Painting

We haven't done some painting in a while so the other night I thought it was the perfect time to take out the paints. Julia enjoyed painting her hands and remembers doing it when we made a card for Papa and for Father's Day with her handprint.

She insisted on doing it all by herself which is something we hear quite often nowadays. She even likes to make her own peanut butter crackers, peel cuties (little oranges) and many other things all by herself.

She definitely had fun getting messy!

Bathing Suit for Chloe

On Monday we made a trip to the American Girl store at North Point Mall to spend the money her Nana Farrell gave her for Christmas. Julia has been saying that she wanted a bathing suit for Chloe so we went to the store and I showed her a few things she could get with her money and she picked out this cute bathing suit for her American Girl doll. She was so cute carrying Chloe and the bag around after we paid for it. Thanks Nana Farrell...Julia had fun picking something out at the store.

Julia is so cute holding Chloe and excuse the messy playroom but it seems like it's a mess most of the time...then again it's a playroom so that's fine. Yes I know the beach ball looks hilarious stuck in the lamp and I'm sure we can all figure out who put it there.

Playing at Home

On Saturday afternoon Thomas met up with a friend to watch the Syracuse basketball game and Julia, Andrew and I had fun playing at home. Andrew is pushing up so high when he's doing tummy time and moving his legs and pulling his leg up all in preparation for crawling which will be the next milestone he reaches. Even though I just know he's going to get into everything we're looking forward to seeing him crawl all around the house. Despite not watching the game Andrew still wore his orange and blue to support our hometown team. I must say he's one happy little boy!

I love this! He looks like he's swimming with his hands and legs in the air and only his belly touching the ground.

The little guy is still drooling a ton but it actually seems like it's a little less so there may be an end in sight for wearing bibs all the time.

Julia really enjoys playing with her three friends Elmo, Curious George, and Chloe. It is by far her favorite thing to do.

Such a sweet girl and she was the best helper and such a great listener when Daddy went to watch the basketball game. Thanks Julia for being such a great kid! We love you!

Andrew 7 months

Today Andrew turned 7 months old...he doesn't seem like much of a baby anymore especially since he's sitting up all by himself. Nowadays Andrew is waking up around 6:30am and takes two or three naps a day. When he only takes two naps the dinnertime hour isn't easy since he's so tired and just wants to be held. Lately it seems like we're holding him while we're trying to eat every night but that's okay with us. He's been doing great with sleeping all night too. He goes to bed around 7:00 and up at 6:30 so almost 12 hours which is just what Julia did. Andrew had fun playing with the sign I made for him...before we know it I'll be planning his first birthday party!

Bath Time

Andrew takes a bath every other night and he just loves it! Even if he's tired he still has fun in the tub. Soon enough I'm going to have to move him into the big tub since he's getting big. He loves to kick and splash and water ends up going everywhere...such fun!

He never seems bothered when water gets on his face or drips down his face but then again he's the one doing it with all the kicking and splashing.

Lots of smiles in the tub for Andrew...he's really going to love it once he gets into the big tub!

Midway Park

Happy New Year! Lately we've been having some nice weather and it's been great being able to go outside and play. The other day we all went to Midway Park and played for a bit. We're so fortunate to live in an area where we can play outside most of the year. Julia and Daddy had fun climbing up the tunnel slide together and Julia was so sweet to help Daddy get to the top.

Lately Julia likes talking into the megaphone at the playground too. It's been so fun watching her do more things each time we make a trip the playground.
