A few more photos of some cute outfits that Julia picked out. We go through many different clothes in one day. Sparkly tights, tutu, firework shirt (she loves that shirt), fairy wings and fairy wand. Just perfect!
Every outfit is better with a tutu. Right?

Enjoying birthday toys
Julia got a few outfits from American Girl for her babies and she's been having lots of fun changing them. She also got a bath tub from Grandma so her babies are always nice and clean.
A ballet outfit for her baby so they match.
Julia loves her baby. Gotta love Julia's outfit...sparkly tights, ballet outfit with tutu and then another tutu on top of that.
Enjoying some sticker mosaics from Nana and Papa. Always fun to play with new toys!

Julia Turns 4
On Saturday, January 26th we celebrated Julia's 4th birthday with a princess party at home with some of her friends. The first present she opened in the morning was a pearl necklace and a pearl bracelet...something every princess needs.
Julia decided on a Cinderella cookie cake and again I ordered it from Publix and they did a great job...we were all impressed and it was so yummy.
The bigger kids ate in the dining room and the younger kids ate in the kitchen.
Julia's Happy Birthday Banner.
Our princess herself enjoying her lunch. Oh...and she loves the birthday crown she got from her teachers at school.
Everyone singing Happy Birthday!
I think the singing is her favorite part of the party but I could be wrong.
Make a wish!
Ready for some cake. Gotta love my crown...Julia's friend Sunny wanted me to wear it and said I was the Queen. Haha. Wish I would have taken a group photo since most of the girls wore princess dresses but it was busy and it slipped my mind.
Giggles!
Opening presents!
Testing out the new pink headphones with the IPAD and watching DocMcstuffins.
I saw these Tinkerbell jammies and had to get them for her since they came with a tutu that you wear to bed. Julia thinks they're the best! She couldn't believe you could wear the tutu to bed...what could be better than that.
Julia and Daddy before bedtime. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think about how lucky I am to have such a sweet girl. She truly is a blessing and we love her to pieces! We definitely had a great day but I learned I won't have her friend party on the same day as her actual party. I felt so busy getting everything ready before the party and cleaning up after that I didn't get to spend as much time with my birthday girl as I wanted...luckily she wanted to stay up late since she was so excited about all her presents. Maybe as she gets older it will be different but we'll see.

Julia's Birthday at School
On Thursday, January 24th I got to go into Julia's class and celebrate her birthday with her school friends. I made mini brownie cupcakes with vanilla frosting and of course pink sprinkles on top. Lots of pink sprinkles. After lunch and the special birthday treat I read two books to the class...Fancy Nancy and Pinkalicious. So fun going into her class and watching her in that environment. I must say I was so proud of her. She did such a great job with following directions and listening to the teacher and in general just knowing what to do.
Enjoying her birthday treat...mini brownie cupcakes. Yummy!
I had so much fun during my visit to her class and later that night when I asked what was her favorite part of the day she said when I came into her class. As she gets older I know she won't like having me around but for now I'm so glad it was her favorite part of the day. The day she doesn't really want me around is going to make me so sad even though I know it's just a normal part of growing up.

Julia Makes me Laugh
Julia rarely wears regular clothes around the house anymore. As soon as we get home from somewhere she immediately changes into something a bit more fancy like a tutu or a ballet outfit or a bathing suit in the winter or an assortment of things she really likes. Today when we got home she went upstairs and changed and came down in this outfit and it just makes me laugh and smile...even now as I'm writing this.
Absolutely hilarious and from now on I'm going to take photos of her different outfit choices. She's such a fun and happy little girl who I love with all my heart!
IPAD
Both Julia and Andrew love the IPAD. Lately Julia loves watching DocMcStuffins and Andrew actually likes watching the Annie videos since we use to watch them alot before Julia and I went to see the show Annie back in December.
Being Silly
Julia and Andrew were being silly again right before bath one night last week. Andrew always likes to come and sit on top on you if you're lying on your back and Julia is no exception. Andrew just came right up and sat on her and she was such a good sport and just laughed and laughed. Love watching them giggle!
Pinned!
A little bouncing and jumping too!

Riding Bikes
Over a week ago it was so nice that we decided to take Julia's bike out for the first time since Santa brought it for her on Christmas. She was a bit cautious and said she was scared but did good with Thomas or myself holding on. Riding a bike takes practice and at this point she thinks she's going to fall even though she has training wheels. She has the strength to pedal by herself since she does on the tricycle...but we'll get there. Can't wait for another nice day so we can practice again!
Andrew even loves riding on the bike! I'm sure he can't wait until he's big enough to ride a bike on his own.

Enjoying the Weather
One day last week while Julia was at school, Andrew and I enjoyed the great weather outside. We went for a walk with the bike and he loved it! He just sits with his feet on the pedals and I push him and he thought it was the greatest! We played in the yard too and just had fun getting outdoors. Love spending time with my little guy!

Cinderella Ballet
One of my Christmas presents from Thomas this year were tickets to see the Cinderella Ballet and dinner out at Pure for Julia and myself. He saw me looking at them online one night and thought it would be a fun outing for us girls and he was right. Another girls night out...I love it! Julia practices some ballet moves before we see the show.
We had great seats...row J and right near the aisle. It was at the Gwinnett Performance Center and it was a great venue to see the show.
Waiting for the show to begin. Julia enjoyed the show but at first I think she was a little surprised at how they didn't talk. It was nice that she knew the movie Cinderella so she could follow along easily.
Dinner out at Pure...my favorite place to eat Mexican out. Thanks for such a great gift, Julia and I had a blast!

Such a Fun Little Boy
Andrew has always been so much fun to be around and as he gets older he's even more fun. He's talking more and more everyday and understands so much of what we say.
Shhhhhh! So cute!
Just being cute like always.
Andrew has always loved playing peek-a-boo and still does. He just giggles.
I see you.
Here I am.

Sleeping Beauty
Usually Julia doesn't take a nap anymore but once in a while she does. This day she piled up all the pillows and laid on them and feel asleep. Looks comfy to me!
Unfortunately she still sucks her thumb...any suggestions to help her stop? I'm not really interested in putting anything on her thumb that taste bad, based on what I've read that's just cruel. We've tried doing some positive reinforcement and it works at times but if she's tired then she likes to suck her thumb. An orthodontist can put an appliance in the roof of her mouth so her thumb won't fit but I'm hoping she'll stop on her own and that doesn't seem to be the case. We'll discuss it with her dentist again at her next appointment to see what he thinks. Regardless she's a great sleeper since she has something that relaxes her.
