Magic Kingdom

We were up early so we could get to Magic Kingdom before they opened to see the Welcome Show and this little guy is ready to go!  We're so excited for a magical day filled with memories which will last a lifetime.

Waiting for the monorail and feeling excited!

The kids are ready! Next stop Magic Kingdom.

Just getting to the Magic Kingdom is exciting let alone all the fun we'll have all day.

On a mission heading straight to the Mine Train since the line is always long and we weren't able to get a fast pass.

Fun activities to do while waiting in line even though we barely waited since we got there when the park opened.

Clearly excited to ride the Mine Train.

Nana and Julia ready!

Julia and Andrew loved having Nana and Papa with us at Disney and Julia said it was her favorite part of the trip.

Fast pass for Peter Pan's Flight because that's another ride that always has a long line.

Waiting to ride It's a Small World, such a classic ride.

Disney selfie.  I may have been the only one who wanted to do a selfie but everyone else agreed.

This was the first year Forsyth County had a Fall Break and it seemed like everyone you talked to was going to Disney so we ran into lots of people we knew.  Right after lunch we ran into our neighbors...how fun it was seeing them at Disney!

Definitely can't go to Disney without going on Dumbo...another classic ride.  I remember riding Dumbo with my grandparents...such great memories.

Way up high and waving!

Julia and Papa on the Barnstormer.  A ride both Julia and Andrew enjoy.

This was our first time doing Enchanted Tales with Belle and of course Thomas liked it since Belle is his favorite princess.

Papa got chosen to be the knight and he did a great job playing the role with his marching abilities.

Enjoying ice cream while watching the parade.

Belle and the Beast

Cinderella and Prince Charming

Anna and Elsa

Rapunzel

Neat costumes

Another fun costume

Ariel

Captain Hook

Tinker Bell

Pluto...Andrew really liked him since his magical arrival present was a stuffed Pluto.

Of course Minnie and Mickey Mouse.

We also met up with Julia's BFF from preschool Grace and her family.

Very good at balancing I might add!

Riding the People Mover with Grace.  So fun!

The kids loved having Magic Bands this visit.

Riding the Speedway.  From what I heard Julia was a crazy driver with Nana and Papa.

It was fun seeing more friends.  Julia with Peyton, Presley and their sister Avery.

The castle looked absolutely amazing!

Not the best photo of all of us but everyone is in it so that's all that counts.

Kids on our shoulders so they could see the parade better.  I have many memories of my dad holding me on his shoulder so I could see the parades when I was little and now it's my turn.  I really do love being a parent to Julia and Andrew.

Meeting Tinker Bell and showing her the tiny Tinker Bell figurine she got upon arrival.

Julia and Tinker Bell

Waiting for the fireworks!  The fireworks at Magic Kingdom are absolutely great...I could watch them over and over.

Our family of 4...love them more than they all may realize!

So pretty!  Love the color of the castle.

Fireworks!

And he's out!  We got to the park at 8:30am and at 9:40pm he was asleep.  He did great all day but ran out of energy.  Disney days are fun but completely exhausting.  I'm so very thankful for such a great day filled with many memories I'll cherish forever.

  1. Splash Mt. was the best ride that day. Lots of fun anticipating the big drop and splash.
