My Little Reader

This little girl is becoming quite the reader and it's been so exciting to watch!  We read one of the series of the fairy books a while back and now she can read them alone so now she's reading some of the other series.  There are seven books in a series and it's been great just catching her reading rather than telling her she needs to do her 20 minutes of reading.  Even though she can read these alone we still read a different chapter book with her to ensure comprehension.  I must say as a mom and a teacher this just makes me smile!  

The Beatles

 I came across this concert that was only $10 bucks where three brothers were playing cover songs of the Beatles and thought it might be worth checking out.  Unfortunately I was at the doctor with Andrew who had a reaction to pink eye medicine but at least Thomas and Julia got to enjoy the show.  Andrew has some of the Beatles songs on his Ipod and both the kids like listening to it.  So glad Thomas remembered to take a few photos.  Such a fun Daddy Daughter Day Date!

Spring Break Day 5

Today we head back to Atlanta but first we squeeze in a little more fun.  I woke up early and rather than just lying in bed I decided to get up and go for a walk on the beach one last time. It was a little chilly but definitely a great walk.

All packed up and out of the condo.  The cousins are ready for a round of miniature golf and lunch before driving home.

Little Miss Victoria wasn't all that interested in put-putt.  She listened to some music instead and she was one determined girl to get that phone to fit in her tiny pocket.

Good form???  We may have to ask Papa since he's the golfer in the family.

Sad Julia.  Goodbyes are always hard for her and Alexander was so worried and kept asking what was wrong.  So sweet!  What a fun Spring Break we had with 3/4 of Team Denno.  Can't wait to see you again in May in New York.

I always like to get a few nice beach photos so we headed down to the beach after dinner one night.  Love these two cuties.

These two kids brighten every one of my days.  You can definitely see Andrew's fun personality in this photo...he really is such a happy boy.

Sisters and cousins again and yes Andrew got his shorts wet and he isn't happy.  He seriously always gets his clothes wet if we go to the beach without bathing suits on...it's inevitable.  I guess I should just expect it.

Spring Break Day 3

Lots of fun at the beach again but not too many pictures from today.  Julia enjoyed playing some game where the water was trying to get them.

Spring Break Day 2

Andrew spent so much time at the beach digging.  I would say that was his favorite thing to do.

We had movie night and watched Pete's Dragon which the kids all enjoyed.

We took a little break part way through for a fudgesicle.

Since Andrew had a nap that day he stayed up a little later and even got a little extra treat...key lime pie.  Obviously he loved it since I caught him licking his plate.  Looks like he forgot about using his manners.  Huh?
