Bedtime

Julia is all clean and ready for some stories and then bedtime. I wanted to be sure I got her showing her muscles on tape so I ran down and got the camcorder and she preformed - sometimes when I take it out she doesn't do anything. She does a great job of saying 'by' too. Enjoy it!

Just Like Mommy

On our way back from the park on Sunday Julia enjoyed playing with my sunglasses. She kept putting them on and taking them off. She's just so much fun to be around! Last night before bed she gave me a kiss on one cheek and then turned my head and gave me a kiss on the other cheek and turned my head and kept doing it over and over. It was the best and it just melted my heart - she's such a little love bug. She's saying more words nowadays such as 'please, cheese, tree, shoes, hi, bye, and of course dada but not much mama' but I'm sure that will come. I just can't tell everyone enough how much fun she is and I love being able to stay home with her rather than only seeing her for a few hours a day. Thanks Thomas! :)

No More Goldfish

Here's little love bug having a meltdown because she couldn't have anymore goldfish. We were about to eat dinner and she didn't like being told 'no more' so this was her reaction. We recognized it was part our fault since we were having dinner an hour later than normal. She just lied on the floor and cried for a little while and then when it was time to eat dinner she wanted nothing to do with it - I guess she told us! Although, I must say she still looks cute as ever even when she's having a meltdown. It's not easy being told 'no more' when it comes to goldfish - Julia just loves them...especially the Parmesan ones.

The Playground is Done!

The playground is finally done. The whole process took a while from picking out the playground to having our lot graded so we'd have a flat area to put it and then putting it together. We're all excited about it and last night was the first night Julia got to play on it! I'm sure we'll be spending lots of time out there as the weather gets a little cooler. Right now we only use it after dinner since it's so hot.

Up in the fort. I must say it's a pretty nice fort with lots of room to play.

She's not sure she wants to go down the slide. She thought it was funny when Daddy and I went down the slide.

Not quite big enough for the swings that came with the playground. It's a good thing we have her bucket swing.

Walking Backwards

Here's a video I took of Julia back in July of her walking backwards. I've been having so much trouble getting videos to upload so I just forgot about it. I looked at it again today and figured it out. I hope you enjoy watching little love bug walking backwards...it's so cute! She thinks it's so funny and just smiles.

Fun, Fun, Fun

Another trip to Sprayground at Riverside Park turned out to be great. I'm not sure who had more fun...Julia or Nana and Grandpa.

Julia and Grandpa looking good after doing some swinging. Gotta love the bungee cord around Julia's neck. She loves wearing it just like a necklace.

Grandpa and Daddy spent lots of time working on setting up the playground. They also assembled this picnic table that came with the playground. Julia's enjoying a clementine as an after dinner snack. I'm sure she'll enjoy many more meals at her picnic table. She really liked sitting there since it's made for little kids and it's just her size.

A trip to Coal Mountain Park is always fun except right before we left Julia fell and bumped her head on the concrete.

Julia loves carrying her purse around. You can see the black and blue on her forehead from a few days earlier. She's always on the move so it's harder getting pictures now.

Last photo with Nana and Grandpa before they left.

Looking Cute...As Always

I took this picture a month ago but I think it's so cute! For a few weeks Julia carried this Minnie Mouse everywhere. In a few more years we'll take her to Disney World to see the real Minnie Mouse. It's so nice that it's only a 7 1/2 hour drive from our house to Orlando.
