This past weekend Thomas finished the bottom half of the nursery for our little boy and now we're trying to decide on the perfect blue color. The room is looking good and soon enough I'll be working in there to get it decorated for our little guy. Only 3 1/2 months until we meet our new little one.
We thought picking out a blue would be easier than picking out a pink color but that hasn't been the case. With Julia's room I think we only got one sample and we loved it. The color was called 'Baby Pink' which made picking out the color real easy. We're having a harder time with the blue but we think we may have decided on a color. Maybe next weekend the room will get painted. The first color Julia knew was blue so she's definitely a fan of us painting the room blue. It's hard to see the true colors in this photo but it looks like we're going with the second color (which looks a little purple in the photo) which is called 'Windmill Wings' and it matches the blue sheets I got for his crib. We really like the third color but not for a baby's room, the first one is quite bright in person, and the last one is really light or as Thomas calls it 'Labatt's Light Blue.'

I am sure that whatever color you guys pick will be beautiful for the baby. They all look GREAT to me. I just can't wait for him to get here!!!!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say that Thomas did a lovely job, as usual, he can come home anytime and do some projects on Treeline if he ever gets bored. It will certainly look different when it is completed.
