Animal Kingdom

For our second park day we decided to go to Animal Kingdom since we did most everything we wanted to do at Magic Kingdom plus we thought it would be fun for Nana and Papa to check out another Disney park.  It's been two years since we've been to Animal Kingdom and Andrew was so little the first time we went so he doesn't even remember it.  We had another great day but not as exhausting as our Magic Kingdom day.

The kids even have their Simba and Nala stuffed animal they bought the night before with them.

Riding the dinosaur ride which is just like Dumbo at Magic Kingdom.

Looking so handsome!

Siblings.

Enjoying a morning snack.

A highlight of our day was seeing Mickey and Minnie Mouse together.  Hugs for Minnie.

Hugs for Mickey.

Andrew got the biggest kick out of seeing Mickey and Minnie Mouse that it put the biggest smile on the faces of the rest of us.  He couldn't stop giggling and really helps you experience the parks and the excitement through a child's eye.  I will never forget his reaction to meeting them...it was absolutely priceless.

Getting their autograph books signed!

Great photo of all of us with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Little cutie with his Mickey ears.

All ready to ride the safari.

We saw lots of animals on the safari like giraffes.

Elephants

Rhinos.

After the safari it was time for a Mickey ice cream treat.

Enjoying every bite of his Mickey ice cream sandwich.

After all you can't go to Disney without getting a Mickey ice cream sandwich.

The ice cream treat came at a perfect time!

Magic Bands!  The girls all went with pink and Andrew and Papa had green but Daddy went out on his own with blue.  We all loved having our magic bands which were perfect since they all work as the key to your room at your resort in addition to having our fast passes on them.

Ready to see the 3D movie It's a Bugs Life with our bug glasses.  This was after we rode the rapids ride and got a little wet which is why Julia's shirt is half wet and half dry.  We all loved the rapids ride despite it being rather short.

Look at these two silly little bugs.  Another great day at Disney!

Pool and Disney Springs

Disney Park days are heaps of fun but exhausting too so we always like to schedule pool days in between going to the parks.  Today is a relaxing pool day for us and the kids were excited to check out the pool at the resort.

Ready to go swimming but willing to stop for a quick photo.

The resort had a slide and Julia absolutely loved it and went down it so many times.

Andrew went down it twice but I think he got turned around and then he didn't like it.

Julia and Papa enjoying the pool.

Here she goes again!

No hands!

Weeee!

One handed.

All the adults went down it too.

Julia's on her way up to go down the slide again.

Papas turn.

Daddy and Andrew having fun in the pool.

The Mayan pyramid was quite impressive.

Fun times playing in the pool.

Little stinker being silly.

Daddy and Andrew relaxing by the waterfall cascade.

Uh, oh...Julia got turned sideways but she didn't mind.

Even Nana went down the slide a bunch of times.

The kids had fun coloring their globes poolside with the fun kid's activities.

Andrew all ready for the water balloon toss with Papa.

Julia and Nana were partners for the water balloon toss and did quite well.

One happy little girl!

Mommy's turn for going down the slide.

This little girl loved the slide!

Hangin' out!

These two cuties had a blast at the pool.

Such a relaxing place to sit.

Heading back to the room to shower and then go out to dinner.

We had dinner at House of Blues.  Half of us liked our meal and half of us didn't like our meal but we had good company.  Julia did a little dancing on stage since nobody was playing music there. Such a fun girl!

Julia and Nana ready and waiting to leave.

Picture outside House of Blues.

Huggy time!

Hug time for Daddy!

I wanted in on the hugging too!

Hugs for Nana and Papa too!  Another fun day that's for sure at Disney.
