We absolutely loved our resort...Arizona Grand Resort and Spa. Thomas really outdid himself and found an awesome place for us to stay. On property they have a swimming area called the Oasis with a wave pool, lazy river, zero entry, slides, splash pad, and a pool with a basketball hoop. It was amazing and only a two minute walk from our room. If you are ever in Phoenix this is the place to stay!
The kids loved playing with the double and single rafts!
We all deserved some relaxing after all the hiking and walking we did in the days prior. We literally just hung out at the Oasis all day...it was great!
Looks like Andrew is ready to steer this raft for him and Julia.
Sweet Julia loving life in the water and with the temperature up to 108 degrees what better way to spend the day.
Andrew and his goggles ready for a day of fun.
Relaxing in the lazy river.
Julia loved the lazy river.
Going along for a ride.
The Oasis was such a fun place and the kids loved getting squirted by the water as I tried to avoid it.
Mommy's turn to go in the lazy river.
It was so nice to just chill.
Julia would float up ahead and then we'd catch up with her.
We just passed through the jets. Lot of giggling going on there.
On our way to dinner...Rustler's Rooste Steakhouse. Once again we got a ride to dinner since it was right near the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa. Little did we know what a great dinner we would have on our last night.
Ready for fun!
There was this fun slide in the restaurant which we all loved. I mean who wouldn't love a slide in a restaurant, right?
Our table looked out at such an amazing view. We had to go outside and snap a few photos before ordering dinner.
Family photo opt!
I know this photo doesn't do it justice but our view was amazing and we could see all the planes going into and out of the Phoenix airport.
Daddy and his little ones.
Me and my little ones.
Silly Andrew and Julia looking at him like what is he doing.
They colored these silly little hats while waiting for dinner.
Another silly hat.
Complimentary cotton candy...yes, please!
We all loved the cotton candy especially since we rarely have it.
Fun times after dinner on the slide.
Love her expression.
Andrew looks all excited.
Mommy's turn with the kiddos.
We dropped off our rental car and we were waiting for the shuttle bus to the airport and I spotted this handsome boy wearing shades and I couldn't help but take a photo of him. He just makes me smile! We had such a memorable trip and did some amazing things we'll always remember. It was the longest flight the kids have been on which was about 3 1/2 hours but they did awesome!

The suite was also a big improvement over the room at the Grand Canyon national park.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great restaurant, esp for the kids. The family pics in this group were so good that I kept a few. 😊
