The Boyce's Visit

My brother, sister-in-law, and my mom came down to visit and the kids were all excited to have them here for a few days.  My kids love my brother and probably because he's goofy with them.  Here he is showing the kids a video of Cookie Monster making cookies and having Siri time them.  It's quite a funny video and the kids thought it was hilarious.

Dancing at the Friday Night Live concert at Avalon while eating some candy.  He's got some moves!

Andrew is always up for being silly hence why he likes my brother so much.

We took them to Stone Mountain Park for one of the days.  The kids love the Sky Hike area.  First up is Toddler Sky Hike where you don't need to be harnessed in.

It's a fun little course for the kids.

Smiling while walking across the wire.

Concentrating

Holding on.

Trying not to fall.

Next up was the real Sky Hike course that has three levels...12 feet, 24 feet, and 40 feet from the ground.  Andrew was all smiles at the start.

It obviously starts off easy and then gets harder.

One I did some I came down to snap a few photos.  Daddy helping Andrew with his rope.

Uncle Chris was already down but Aunt Sherry went with Julia.

Walking across wooden planks without a railing to hold onto.

Zig zag beam.

Balancing and only holding onto his own rope.

Lots of concentration.

Andrew is all done and getting unharnessed.

Twins!  Boys wearing their matching shirts!

Ring the bell once you complete the Sky Hike course.

Firing little nerf balls out of these shooters and trying to hit each other.

In front of Stone Mountain before we rode the gondola up.

Glad to spend time with some of my family.

You can hike up the mountain but we took the gondola up.

Up top of Stone Mountain with downtown in the background.

Love this little family of mine.

Enjoying the view from the top of the mountain.

Just chillin'.

Andrew is always so sweet and puts his arm around Julia.

Look at Andrew and his silly poses.

Enjoying some ice cream on this hot Atlanta day.

Ready for a little mini golf.

Enjoying the toddler sky hike course one more time before heading home.  Fun day at Stone Mountain as our last activity before they left town.  Thanks for visiting us!

Andrew's Birthday Continues...Twins

Since we were traveling on Andrew's actual birthday he got a few other presents when we got back home.

Andrew likes to dress like Thomas and he has on occasion changed his clothes to better match his Daddy.  I saw these cool matching t-shirts and knew he would love them!

Now he has a shirt that matches his Daddy exactly.  How cute do they look?

Arizona...Day 5 Phoenix

We absolutely loved our resort...Arizona Grand Resort and Spa.  Thomas really outdid himself and found an awesome place for us to stay.  On property they have a swimming area called the Oasis with a wave pool, lazy river, zero entry, slides, splash pad, and a pool with a basketball hoop.  It was amazing and only a two minute walk from our room.  If you are ever in Phoenix this is the place to stay!

The kids loved playing with the double and single rafts!

We all deserved some relaxing after all the hiking and walking we did in the days prior.  We literally just hung out at the Oasis all day...it was great!

Looks like Andrew is ready to steer this raft for him and Julia.

Sweet Julia loving life in the water and with the temperature up to 108 degrees what better way to spend the day.

Andrew and his goggles ready for a day of fun.

Relaxing in the lazy river.

Julia loved the lazy river.

Going along for a ride.

The Oasis was such a fun place and the kids loved getting squirted by the water as I tried to avoid it.

Mommy's turn to go in the lazy river.

It was so nice to just chill.

Julia would float up ahead and then we'd catch up with her.

We just passed through the jets.  Lot of giggling going on there.

On our way to dinner...Rustler's Rooste Steakhouse.  Once again we got a ride to dinner since it was right near the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa.  Little did we know what a great dinner we would have on our last night.

Ready for fun!

There was this fun slide in the restaurant which we all loved.  I mean who wouldn't love a slide in a restaurant, right?

Our table looked out at such an amazing view.  We had to go outside and snap a few photos before ordering dinner.

Family photo opt!

I know this photo doesn't do it justice but our view was amazing and we could see all the planes going into and out of the Phoenix airport.

Daddy and his little ones.

Me and my little ones.

Silly Andrew and Julia looking at him like what is he doing.

They colored these silly little hats while waiting for dinner.

Another silly hat.

Complimentary cotton candy...yes, please!

We all loved the cotton candy especially since we rarely have it.

Fun times after dinner on the slide.

Love her expression.

Andrew looks all excited.

Mommy's turn with the kiddos.

We dropped off our rental car and we were waiting for the shuttle bus to the airport and I spotted this handsome boy wearing shades and I couldn't help but take a photo of him.  He just makes me smile!  We had such a memorable trip and did some amazing things we'll always remember.  It was the longest flight the kids have been on which was about 3 1/2 hours but they did awesome!
