Miss Julia reading again! She has made amazing progress in her reading this year and really enjoys it! Proud is such an understatement. She still reads the fairy books alone and we just finished reading a book together called Bandit which we both loved!

Handstands
Look at these crazy kids using the ball to help them do a handstand. Makes me a little nervous someone is going to get hurt but they loved it. They felt like they were flying!

Wild West Day for Andrew
We had such a beautiful day for Wild West Day at Andrew's preschool and had so much fun which was no surprise at all.
Cute little banner they made with pictures of all the teachers. His lead teacher is Mrs. Knight on the right and the assistant is Mrs. Marker on the left. Both are super sweet!
After getting some popcorn we headed right for the inflatables.
So fun and super fast too!
Waiting in line with one of his friends in his class Colin.
The obstacle course was definitely his favorite part of Wild West Day.
Having fun climbing through.
So glad Daddy could join us for a bit.
Me and my little cowboy.
He's ready to go!
There's lots of pictures of him going through the obstacle course and you can totally see how much he enjoyed it. I can hear his giggle now and I just love it!
They even had some different animals and Andrew held a little bunny for a bit.

Here's the banner with pictures of all the teachers and Andrew has his riding horse he made in class.
Photo op.
What a wonderful morning with my little guy. He was so sweet and brought some popcorn home for Julia and won a tiny little horse for her too.

Sunday Hike...Desoto Falls
We've been having some great weather lately despite all the pollen. It was a last minute decision but we decided to drive up into the mountains a little and go for a hike to see some waterfalls. Andrew is all ready for the hike with his hiking stick.
Desoto Falls...two different smaller trails that lead to two different waterfalls.
Julia with her happy walk and hair swinging.
Julia and Daddy...how sweet!
First water fall was a short hike.
These two bring so much fun to our lives...it's indescribable.
Happy together.
Smaller waterfall but still pretty.
On the next trail headed towards the second waterfall.
Almost there.
More impressive than the first.
Taking in the sights.
Two fun kids who did great on our hike.
Great photo taken by Julia and I didn't crop it or do anything to it.
Our little family of four.
After we drove a little further to check out Vogel State Park to do a little fishing. The kids didn't catch anything but probably would have if we had real worms. A guy next to us caught three little fish and he was using real worms. Julia said next time we need real worms but she still had fun!
Andrew had tons of fun practicing his casting.

Outside Playtime
Enjoying some playtime outside after school and before dinner. Crazy kids found this tricycle in the basement and wanted to ride it. Julia is much too big for it but they both had fun playing with it anyways.
Look at those big blue eyes.
Off they go.
My little guy is fast on his scooter.

Playground Fun
What a fun afternoon playing outside on the swings! I'm truly enjoying all the little moments with these two kiddos. I still can't believe they are 7 and 4 years old. I remember pushing Julia on the swing as a baby...she loved it and still does. Not many pictures of Julia alone as it was harder to capture her since she was swinging up so high but I was able to get a bunch of Andrew and I absolutely love his facial expressions in all of them. I can totally hear the giggles as I type.
