Julia got her ballet costume for her recital that is about a month away and she's so excited! I must say she looks super cute and we're extra excited since the costume is her favorite color...pink. Another added bonus is we get to keep this one. We bought it and it's not rented so she's happy about that. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of this once the show is over. Obviously they have been asked not to wear it until after the show because we all know they might be worn out otherwise. We can't wait to see her preform on the big stage again and we know she'll do great.

Pizza Anyone?
Thomas and Julia made pizza for us on Sunday night and it was delicious. Julia was a great assistant chef!
A real pizza maker in the works! I never would have thought the chef hat my mom got for her a few years back would be so handy to have around.

Soooo sleepy
Today at lunch Andrew was obviously exhausted and fell asleep while still at the table. Everyone was busy and I looked over at him since he was quiet and sure enough he was asleep. This is a first for Andrew. I quickly took a few photos and Thomas took a video and then I picked him up and Thomas cleaned the yogurt off his hands and I brought him up to bed. He slept comfortably for 2 hours and then snoozed on me for a bit once he woke up. I guess since he only took a short nap yesterday in the car he was ready for an early nap today.

Sleeping Andrew
Andrew took a later nap on Tuesday since we stopped by the barn to take photos once we picked up Julia from school. It was getting close to 5:00 and I went to wake him up so he'd still go to bed at his normal time. He looked so cute snoozing that I ran and grabbed my camera to snap a few photos of my cute little guy.
Tuesday afternoon
Tuesday was picture day at Julia's school and I decided to bring Andrew up there with hopes that the photographer might get a good photo of the two of them together. I haven't seen the pictures she took yet but I don't think any of them came out since Andrew was holding his arms out and wanted me to pick him up. I don't think his little bit of stranger anxiety would make for a good photo. Hence I decided to get my own camera and see what I could get myself. I got some good photos of them alone but nothing great of them together. Obviously the tractor in the barn was way more interesting than me taking photos. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the photos!

Bath Time
Andrew is loving bath time and even cries (fake cry) a little when we take him out. Lately he has been lying on his belly pretending to swim. Should be a fun summer at the pool with the kids.

Wild West Day
On Thursday it was Wild West Day at Julia's school. We didn't really have the appropriate clothes but we made do with a $1.00 bandanna and a hat and wore a jean skirt. No red and blue for this cowgirl...pink all the way of course. Not quite sure I've seen a cowgirl in pink but pink is her favorite color so pink it is.
All ready to go.
Andrew didn't want a hat but he wanted the bandanna. Such fun times.
A school event wouldn't be complete without a picture of Julia and her best friend Grace. Love these two girls!
A photo in the barn.
One of Andrew too.
After eating lunch outside with Grace and her family the girls went back to the slide and went down a million times. There was no line and they kept doing it over and over again. They had a blast!
Both Julia and Andrew had so much fun at Wild West Day and thanks to all the teachers for their extra work of putting it all together. Looking forward to it next year!

Fun with Andrew
My little cute guy enjoying a snack. I must say I love plaid shorts for little boys with a solid shirt...so cute! I bought this outfit last year for such a great deal and I'm glad it fits perfect for this summer. Love those big blue eyes!
Andrew loves the little flossers...never to early to start flossing. Right?
Showing off those pretty teeth!

Go Syracuse!
We were so excited to see our hometown team of Syracuse make it to the final four but of course sad when they lost to Michigan. Our very own Julia makes one cute cheerleader.
I think these two boys are always going to love watching Syracuse basketball together. As for now Andrew plays basketball with his little basketball set he got from Santa while Daddy watches the games intently.
While we weren't looking Andrew grabbed a chicken wing and started eating it. Couldn't believe it since it was a little on the hot side.
Ballet Party
The day Nana and Papa left Julia had two birthday parties to attend which was great since she was sad to see them go. Her friend Chloe from school had a ballet birthday party which was super cute! The girls wore their ballet clothes and an older ballet student came in to teach the girls some ballet moves. Since Julia has been taking ballet since she was two she was very familiar with the ballet moves. It was such a fun morning of girl stuff! Love my cute ballerina!

Visit with Nana and Papa
We had a great visit with Nana and Papa and we were very sad to see them go. Andrew loved playing with Papa and even wanted me to leave the playroom one time when he was in there playing with Papa. Who needs mom when Nana and Papa are around?
We even had a few nice days and were able to make it to the park on a beautiful afternoon once Andrew woke up from nap.
Papa and Andrew. It's really cute but Andrew is quite the fan of Papa. If Papa left the room Andrew would always say, 'Where's Papa?'
A quick photo of Nana and Papa with Julia and Andrew before we headed out to dinner. Thanks for coming to visit! Can't wait to see you again.
