Sprayground @ Riverside Park

I just recently heard about this Sprayground Park from a friend and had to take Julia since I knew she'd love it. She was a bit timid at first and not sure what to think but soon enough she realized how much fun it was and when it was time to go she didn't want to leave. She first started playing with the little water fountain...a perfect size for her.

Only mommy and Julia got in the water that day and daddy took photos. Next time daddy said he's going to go in. It was lots of fun!

Still playing near the little water fountain with her hat. She soon decided she didn't want to wear it.

Checking out the bigger water fountain.

Getting more and more adventurous as we headed towards the fountains with lots of water gushing out. Julia is loving it as the water splashes in her face. We'll definitely be heading back real soon for some more fun.

Summer Fun

The hot weather is here in 'Hotlanta' and we're having fun! This is Julia's little pool which is so small that Thomas and I laughed but then again it was only $5.00. Even though we have a pool in the neighborhood we thought it would be good to have a little one to put on the deck for some quick swims.

The other weekend we took Julia to the real pool but the water was still a bit cool and she didn't like it too much. I just took her two days ago and she loved it now that the water is warmer. We brought some toys to the pool and had loads of fun!

What would summer be without bubbles? Julia loves the bubble machine that we have, it spins out so many bubbles at once. Summer is the best season and we're looking forward to getting the playground setup soon.

More Walking

Here's Julia doing some more walking. It's amazing but she'll walk around the island in the kitchen so many times just smiling...you can tell she's so proud of herself. We love looking at her little legs when she's walking...they look so cute! Enjoy!

Tons of Walking

Here's another video so you can see how good Julia has gotten with her walking! She's been doing a ton of walking lately. Last week we went to the park and she walked a ton and then yesterday we went to Target and she walked all around the store...she loved how there were so many things right at her level. At home she'll be holding onto a chair and before you know it she has let go and starts walking on her own. It totally freaks me out especially when she's on the hardwoods but I remember not long ago it scared me when she was just standing and holding onto something if she was on the hardwoods. I'm sure before long it won't worry me and there will be something else for me to worry about. She's fallen a bunch but only got hurt once so far. It's so exciting to see how proud she is of herself!
