Blue Mountain Beach...Day 5

A few years ago we have a picture of the kids in their jammies sitting on the stairs of the condo we were staying at so we recreated the picture at this condo.

Alexander (6), Victoria (3), Julia (8), and Andrew (6).  We spent the day at the beach again but I didn't take any photos.

Blue Mountain Beach...Day 4

The place we stayed had a pool and the kids have been begging to go to the pool so we decided today would be a pool day.  Alexander and Victoria got their own boogie boards so now everyone has one.

Nobody else was at the pool so we had it to ourselves.  It was a small pool but it was great because all the kids could go anywhere in the pool alone and swim without help from us.  There was lots of jumping in and they loved it!

Fudgsicles for dessert on the back deck.

Since we spent the day at the pool we decided to go to the beach for a night swim.

Matching boogie boards!

Blue Mountain Beach...Day 3

We spent all day at the beach again but I didn't take any beach photos today.  The kids enjoyed eating spaghetti dinner on the back deck.  These cousins loved spending time together.

After dinner ice cream treat at Blue Mountain Creamery just down the street.  The girls got chocolate and the boys went with vanilla and sprinkles for everyone.

Julia loves chocolate.

Look at that smile!  She was one happy girl with her ice cream cone.

Team Dennison minus Uncle Bradley.

Team Brown minus Thomas.

All the kids slept in the same room which often times lead to chatting rather than going right to bed.  They all were big fans of the nightly stories.  Sweet dreams!

Blue Mountain Beach...Day 2

Day 2 and we're ready for another fun filled day at the beach.  Julia and Victoria did lots of floating around.  It was nice how the water was so calm so they could hang out there by themselves.

There was a little pool of water on the beach and the kids liked playing in it.  Andrew practiced standing on his boogie board in shallow water.

Working on standing up and getting his balance.

Julia's cooling off in the water and I love how those blue eyes shine.

Water run in action.

Victoria and Julia busy building.

Look at those blue eyes...I love them!

I love this hole Alexander was digging.

Almost always smiling!  He is seriously one happy kid.

Off go the girls to float around.

Sisters and cousins loving life.  So thankful to be spending time together.

And they're off with their own floating device to enjoy the beautiful ocean.  We are so lucky to live only about 6 hours from water this beautiful.  I'm not sure it gets much better than the gulf.

Alexander using Julia's boogie board to ride some waves.

Julia riding some waves instead of actually floating around on her tube.

The girls are off to play in the water.

These boys did lots of digging.

Another hard working day at the beach.  Everyone did great with helping carry all our stuff to and from the beach.  It was great to have good helpers since we had lots of stuff.

Blue Mountain Beach...Day 1

My sister and I along with our 4 kids are spending the week at Blue Mountain Beach which is near Santa Rosa Beach along 30A on the panhandle of Florida's Gulf Coast.  The water is absolutely beautiful there as you can see in the picture.  We're all ready to enjoy a slice of paradise for the week as we sit back and relax and take in these breathtaking views.  Julia is all set to float around in the ocean with her new tube.

Of course as soon as we got to the beach Alexander and Andrew started digging.

Digging boys are ready...shovels up.

Andrew did lots of boogie boarding too.

Victoria and Julia sharing a tube and just floating around enjoying life.

I love all his facial expressions.

He seriously had the best time riding the waves.

There was lots of giggling too!

Aunt Kim helping Julia stand on her boogie board in the water.

Very thankful for spending time at the beach with these two but wishing Thomas was with us too.

I love these two kids!  Great first day at the beach.

4th of July Braves Baseball

Another great American thing to do on the 4th of July is go to a baseball game.  We enjoyed checking out the new Braves stadium called Sun Trust Park.  There were a few sprinkles in the air and the game got postponed for 30 minutes but it cleared up nicely.

The new stadium has a kids area filled with a zip line, rock climbing wall, games, etc.  The first thing we did was the zip line.  Julia and Alexander went first!

Weeeee!

Julia loved it!

Mommy went with Andrew so he didn't have to go alone and I must admit it was fun so I could see why they loved it.  I would love to do a real zip line someday.

Mommy and Andrew flying through the air!

Andrew loved it too!

There was even a place where the kids could run the length of first base and they enjoyed that too.

Here goes Julia.

Team Brown all ready to go home.  It was a late night for us but everyone did great.

Another sisters and cousins photo outside Sun Trust Park.
