Early Easter Baskets

This year we weren't going to be home for Easter but fortunately the Easter bunny left their baskets a day early so the kids could enjoy them before we left town.  Andrew's basket is filled with lots of Ninjago things.

Julia's basket was filled with Little Miss Books and a Nike exercise outfit.

She was so excited with all the Little Miss Books.  I think she got 36 books in all.

Andrew was all excited about his Anakin Skywalker figurine.  They both grabbed a few things from their baskets as we headed out the door to the airport.  Thanks for the early Easter Basket delivery.

Andrew's Easter Egg Hunt

We're excited to be at Andrew's last Egg Hunt at the preschool.  They started off by making a caterpillar from plastic eggs.  Look at my handsome boy looking all grown up.

All the kids in his class are ready for the egg hunt to begin.

We're so glad Daddy could join us for the egg hunt and of course Andrew was thrilled he was there.

They each had to find the numbers 1-10 and then two sight words to complete the egg hunt.  It was a great way to make the egg hunt last longer than 2 minutes.

Looks like he has found all his eggs.

Two handsome guys!

We sure love this little guy!

The best part of an egg hunt is opening your eggs and finding out what treats are inside.  Don't you think?

We're so thankful to be able to attend these special events with both of our kids and we're especially thankful for a preschool who takes the extra time and effort to put on such events.

Second Grade Amusement Park

It's been such a bummer not being able to volunteer in Julia's classroom this year since the teacher never wanted any volunteers.  So when we were asked to come in for their Amusement Park I was so excited and couldn't wait.  All the kids had to create their own ride or game and build it along with making a brochure.

Julia with her BFF in second grade Landry Rose.

Of course Julia wanted to build a swing which was no surprise since she's always loved the swing since she was a little baby.  Daddy helped her build it and the top actually swings around and I helped her decorate it.  She was proud of her swing and named her ride "High in the Sky."

Daddy joined us this morning too but we had this photo taken after he already went to work for the day.  Andrew and I were on our way to school but so glad we got to see all the rides and games the kids created.  We love you Julia and we're proud of your work!

Legoland Florida WaterPark

Ready for another fun day at Legoland but today we're heading to the water park.

Look at his poses.  Too funny!

Ready to take on the Water Park!

First up was a wave pool with big lego bricks.

The kids had fun playing with the lego bricks in the water.

Pure happiness!

Building something.

Hard at work and having a blast.

Looks like they made a little seat.

A perfect place to take a rest and strike a pose.

Too funny!

Next up was the water playground.

Such a great place to play.

Loving life.

Next we checked out the water slides complete with tubes.  You could go down in a single tube or a double tube.  We had so much fun riding on the double tubes!

Julia checked out the single tube while I took a few pictures.

Back to the wave pool and building with legos.

They also had an area where you could build a boat and launch it down this course.

Andrew's proud of his boat.

The launch!

Andrew sending his boat off.

Off they go.

Checking out the lazy river complete with lego bricks for your building pleasure.

I jumped out a little early to snap a few photos.

Now onto the huge water slides.  Julia went down the one on the far right and I went down the one in the middle with a straight drop.

That water slide was a bit crazy!  Another fun day at Legoland making memories which will last a lifetime.  Thankful for all the good times together as a family.

Legoland Florida

Ready for a fun Spring Break in Florida!  We're all set to enjoy Legoland Florida which we've heard great things about so we're excited to check it out for ourselves.

Checking out all the things made out of tiny legos.

An ice cream cone made out of legos.  No worries Julia's tongue isn't actually touching the legos.

More things made out of legos.

Andrew's favorite ride was called Ninjago.  He absolutely loved it!  You would get points and some how Andrew won almost every time. The first time we rode it my score was on the left and Andrew's score was on the right...he whooped me.

Making some Ninjago moves!

Ready for a roller coaster.

Fun little playground area outside the Ninjago ride.

Andrew's score is in blue and he wins again.

A peaceful little boat ride in a lego boat.

Fun little lego cars make it a perfect reason to stop and take a photo.  Doesn't he look so cute?

Julia's ready to go for a ride.  Too bad they're not real.

I want to go for a ride too!

Next stop is onto Ford Driving School and now these cars actually drive.

Julia and Andrew got to drive these little cars in a little town complete with stop signs, traffic lights, etc.  It was super cute!

Taking a little break from the heat and cooling off indoors and the kids got to add legos to this lego wall.

Such a fun boy sitting in a mound of legos.

Ready for another ride.

Julia and Andrew rode this ride alone and did great with pedaling which actually made your seat rise.

So fun for us to stand back and watch them have fun!

The Ford Mustang made from legos.  I can't even imagine how long it took to build that car.

Two little cuties waiting in line for another ride with their new lego figurines.

Next up was a little safari ride to check out all the animals made from legos.

Yes those giraffes are made out of legos.  Crazy to think how many legos it takes to build a life size giraffe.

Lions made out of legos.

Our cute safari cars.

Next up was a knight ride for Julia and Andrew.

Our fun little guy enjoying life.

Julia and Andrew riding together.

Andrew is a hot and sweaty mess after playing on a playground for a bit.

Julia is all hot too but not as sweaty as our little Andrew.  He gets sweaty!

Julia with the Lego friends.

I thought these Fun Facts were interesting.

Effiel Tower made from Legos.

The Statue of Liberty.  It was cool seeing this since just about 6 months earlier we took the kids to NYC and saw the Statue of Liberty in person.

The Millenium Falcon made from legos.  Andrew liked all the Stars Wars stuff.

ATAT.

Julia hugging R2D2.

Andrew and Daddy hanging out with the lego Darth Vader.

The ninja Kia from the show Ninjago.

All aboard the Ninjago ride at Legoland.

Andrew showing his ninja moves with the ninja Lloyd.

All his ninja moves make me smile.

Andrew and Julia with Sensei Wu and their unique poses.

We had to get a photo in front of Andrew's favorite ride.

Complete with ninja moves.

Julia's favorite ride was a roller coaster where your feet hung down called Flying School.

My little cutie ready to ride her favorite ride.

In front of the Legoland Hotel.  We didn't stay there since it was $500 a night but we went in to check it out.

With the Legoland man inside the Legoland Hotel.

Checking out a bed made from legos in the lobby.

Definitely a fun day and we're so glad we came.  The park wasn't busy at all and we had a blast!
