Wild West Day for Andrew

The events the preschool puts on are always so much fun for the kids and the adults too! Normally I would have taken Andrew to Wild West Day and Thomas would have joined us for a bit but Julia was home with a fever so Thomas took off a few hours and enjoyed Wild West Day with Andrew while I stayed home with Julia.  It was such a nice treat for Andrew and Daddy to enjoy one of these events together.

The moonslide is always one of the favorites things to do at these events.  Andrew just loves the big slide and I'm sure he went down it a million times!  He's also wearing the bandanna they made in class.

Look at our happy boy having a good time!

Just to give you an idea of the size of the slide.

Andrew had his first snow cone at Wild West Day with Daddy and by the looks of it he was quite a fan of them.  Looks like there will be more snow cones in his future.

Little cowboy Andrew who also ate popcorn at Wild West Day too!

Looks like Daddy and Andrew on the tractor ride.  So thankful Thomas was able to take a few hours off work at the last minute so Andrew could experience Wild West Day.

Legoland

On their last full day we decided to take the kids to Legoland.  I've been wanting ti take my kids for a while now but never did so it sounded like a special thing to do with cousins.  The kids were all excited since they all love legos.

Everyone took a turn sitting on the bike once you entered.

There are only two rides at Legoland and the kids waited patiently in line.

Julia was all excited for a fun day at Legoland!  I love this picture of her because it shows her authentic smile!

After the ride we went into a room where they created a downtown of Atlanta all made out of Legos.  I must say it was pretty cool!

Next up was the ride where you had to peddle to go up higher.  Julia could just reach the peddles so Mommy took care of all the peddling while she enjoyed the ride!

Weeeeee!

Julia and the girl made out of Legos.

My sister and Victoria enjoying Legoland!  Victoria enjoyed dancing to some music in the room where they used Legos to represent downtown Atlanta.

My sister and Alexander on the Lego ride.

Next up was using Legos to make a car and then racing them.  Julia of course wanted a car made of pink Legos and Andrew's car was made out of green Legos.  Shocker!

Racing the cars they made on the track!

Andrew really enjoyed this part of the day!

Fun with Cousins

It was so nice having my sister along with my nephew and niece here for Julia's Spring Break.  Little Victoria Rose really liked Julia's baby doll and played with her a bunch during the week.

We were thrilled to have some nice days so we could head to some local parks.  Everyone loved the parks!

Andrew was so proud of himself for climbing a difficult section at Fowler Park.

Hey, we all have meltdowns from time to time, right?  I thought she looked so cute having a meltdown when Mommy said no candy that I couldn't resist taking a photo.  Plus she looked adorable in a pair of jammies that Julia use to wear.  She really enjoyed the special treats the Easter Bunny brought!  It always makes me smile when I see Victoria wearing something that belonged to Julia.

Another park day and it was a hot one!  Checking out all the fun stuff at the newly renovated Central Park.

Victoria loved this slide!

Cooling off with a popsicle after running around for a few hours.  What, they're all looking at the camera...kinda!

It was their last night and we headed to The Chill Hill for an ice cream treat and a little dancing from the boys!  They sure have some good moves!

Cooling off with a special treat.

Little Miss Victoria loved her treat too!  Such a fun week together and lots of tears from Julia when we dropped them off at the airport.  We can't wait to see you at the beach in June!

Happy Easter!

It was so exciting to have two extra Easter baskets this year since my sister and her kids joined us for Easter.  Julia and Andrew were all excited to have their cousins spend the week with us and so were we even though it was definitely crazy at times.  Four Easter baskets for four great kids!

Julia's basket filled with lots of fun stuff.

Andrew is going to be thrilled to find two new transformers in his basket.

Julia got a cute American Girl kit to make cards.

Alexander ready to check out his basket.

Andrew's two new transformers were a huge hit!  Boulder and Chase.

Victoria was all about looking at the treats!

Julia loved looking at all her goodies.

Andrew checking our Boulder which happens to be his favorite color.

Egg hunt.  Alexander found an egg!

Andrew's on the hunt!

What cute girls!

Little Victoria who wasn't feeling the greatest but sure looks adorable here!

Cousins!  Only the older kids...Victoria was in no mood to have her photo taken.

Sisters with our kiddos.  Love our photos like these every time we see each other.

Family photo but no smiles from Julia and Andrew!

We waited to color eggs until the afternoon so we could do it with our cousins.

Such a work of art.

Of course Julia wanted to make her egg pink.  We hope you had a wonderful Easter! We truly enjoyed having family in town to celebrate with us!

Andrew's Easter Egg Hunt

Unfortunately it was a rainy day for Andrew's Easter Egg Hunt but even the rain didn't spoil our fun.  They had the egg hunt inside followed by an inside picnic.  First they sang us a song.

Look at my handsome little boy!

For the egg hunt they had to find and keep the eggs that had their name on it.  He's all excited to find one with his name on it.

Another one.

He's looking.

So glad Daddy works close by and can come to all these special events.

Andrew and his friend Grant.

Loved spending these special time with our little guy.

Andrew's class.  There are actually two girls not in the picture.

One of Andrew's teachers made these cute bunny cupcakes for the kids as a special treat. Aren't they cute?

Andrew and his buddy well no not his buddy since only Daddy and Papa are his buddies but his friend Grant ready to eat their bunny cupcake.

Andrew and his teachers Ms. Marjorie and Ms. Shanna.  They're both so sweet...we just love them!

He was all excited to find a car in one of his eggs.
