Watch Out...Here I Come!

Julia's been crawling for almost a month now and it's been a lot of fun! She's doing so good and her crawling movements are much more coordinated. Now that she can crawl she's discovered some fun things like door stoppers that make a fun noise and swinging doors open and closed. We can't wait for what else is in store for us! :)

Swinging

Even though it was a chilly day we bundled up and went outside to have some fun on her swing. She loves it more and more every time we use it! She gets so excited when we're buckling her in...she just knows what's going happen. Now honestly, who wouldn't love being pushed for 20-30 minutes.

Visiting Santa!

Yesterday Julia visited Santa for the first time and she did great! Santa was able to find time in his busy December schedule to visit our neighborhood and was down at the gazebo by the pool. Of course we went to visit him so Julia could tell him everything she wanted for Christmas. Top on her list were yogurt melts by Gerber Graduates...she loves those little snacks. She did quite well on Santa's lap...she looked away for a while and then realized I wasn't holding her. When she looked to see who was she was surprised to see a man in a red suit with a big white beard. She looked at Santa and wasn't sure what to think and then gave a few little whines. Luckily our visit with Santa was over before she got upset. You can't see her cute Christmas outfit since it was a chilly day here on Saturday but trust me she looked cute but then again she still does wearing her warm coat. We hope Santa brings you what you wish for this Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving and I hope you did as well. Julia woke up from a nap shortly before we sat down to eat and it was so nice having her share dinner with us. She enjoyed some sweet potato, stuffing, and dinner rolls too! The day was more than Thanksgiving for us because she turned 10 months old too...kind of hard to believe.

Look who's crawling!

I'm going to attempt to attach the video I took of Julia crawling for the first time last Thursday...we'll see if I can make it work but I'm sure I'll need help from Thomas. She's been crawling more and more everyday and she's beginning to move a bit quicker too. I must say it's been pretty exciting to watch. She's really working hard and we're so proud of her!

Hello

I've been wanting to set up a blog for a while now and today I finally did it! Not only did I set it up but I didn't even get any help from Thomas. I thought this would be a great way for family and friends to keep up with all the little things that Julia is doing from day to day. I'm going to try my best to update it once a week and hopefully you'll check back often to see the new things Julia is learning. Here's a recent picture of our little love bug!
