Andrew's Birthday Party

We had such a fun time celebrating Andrew's birthday with friends yesterday.  Of course a cookie cake from Publix with Mickey on it.

I saw these on Pinterest and decided to make them since they were soooo cute.  It was a little tricky getting the ears to stick but other than that it was quite easy and they fit perfectly with our Mickey Mouse theme party.

We had the water table set up along with the sprinkler and of course the playground and the kids had a blast.

Silly girls had fun putting their bums in the water.

Julia and her best buddy Grace.

Andrew filling up his bucket.

Andrew loves hats and decided to use the bucket as a hat.

Sara Cate loved the sprinkler...next week she'll be one and she is such a cutie.

Jude spent a little bit of time in the sprinkler too.

Andrew loved the dinner menu.  Breaded chicken with blue cheese dip, macaroni and cheese and grapes...one of his favorites.

Happy Birthday Andrew!  The slight breeze blew out his candles but he blew out the ones on his birthday cupcake on Monday.

So happy!

Enjoying the cookie cake to the fullest.

Showing me his airplane.

We even had a pinata and all the kids had a few chances to take a whack at it.

Everyone running for the candy.

Poor Mickey.

Jude and Andrew...Andrew is only about 2 months older than Jude.

The two little guys had fun playing with the water table.

Love Jude's facial expression here.

Looking forward to taking a music class with Jude in the fall once Julia is back in school.

Jammies

Love the photos of Julia and Andrew in their jammies...they're just always so cute!  Julia wears her tutu that came with her Tinker Bell jammies with her other jammies too. It's perfect as she would say.

Andrew enjoyed watching Curious George on our bed one morning in his jammies as I was getting ready.  It's so cute, he says, 'Watch George.'

Andrew Turns 2...Happy Birthday!

I can't believe our little guy turned two years old already...time is going by way to fast!  On Monday we enjoyed celebrating his birthday with our family and look forward to celebrating with friends on Saturday with a Mickey Mouse party.

Andrew enjoyed opening his presents and when he came down in the morning and saw them wrapped and sitting on the fireplace he said, 'presents.'

Playing with his lego motorcycle.

And his new bath toys...bubbles.

He loved the basketball that was on his card from Grandma.

All smiles from Andrew since Julia was being a great helper and getting him to giggle.

Julia helped me make the Mickey Mouse cupcakes for Andrew's birthday and of course the idea came from Pinterest.  The cupcakes were not as flat on top as I wanted but they still looked cute and they were super yummy!

Andrew was super excited about his water table from Nana and Papa.

Enjoying the water table on the deck.

Julia loved the water table just as much as Andrew.

All wet.

Let's dunk our heads in too!  I wonder whose idea that was?

Looks like we'll be having lots of fun with the water table this summer.

Happy Birthday Andrew!

Sweet Julia!

Yummy!

A bit messy but he loved it!

Welcome to the Jungle Ballet Recital

On Saturday Julia had her second ballet recital on 'the big stage' and again she did fantastic!  You aren't allowed to take photos or video during the actual show but they have a dress rehearsal shortly before and that's when you're allowed to take as many photos and videos till your heart is content.  Hence I was clicking away while they practiced their performance.  Julia was excited that we got to keep this costume unlike the one for the Holiday Show as that one was rented.  Thomas and I couldn't help but have our eyes tear up as she preformed on stage...it was super cute and we were so proud of our ballerina!

Mommy and Julia before the dress rehearsal.

Julia and some of her ballet friends...Julia, Reagan, Presley and Peyton.

Julia's class ready to preform.

All smiles and ready to go!

Still smiling!

Great ballet position!

Looking as sweet as ever!

Part of their performance was to pretend they were asleep.

Another great ballet position.

So sweet!

The backdrops were amazing!

Had to snap one photo as they all came out to bow.  Julia is in the center off to the right a little near one of the teachers in a blue dress.  All the costumes were amazing and Cumming Dance Academy put on another great show.

Andrew gave Julia her flowers along with a big hug and a 'Good job Julia.'

Daddy is so proud!

My sweet little girl.

Such a beautiful ballerina.

Having fun with the flowers.

Love this photo!

The perfect ballet bun!  I've learned the trick to doing the perfect ballet bun so it looks like Julia is all set for future performances.  Thank goodness!
